Our Why & Journey
Luanne & Harry Rimmer
Manchester, UK — June 2026
Luanne and Harry Rimmer mark 22 years together and 21 years of marriage this July, a milestone shaped not only by devotion but by the extraordinary children who have defined their journey — Jonathan (21 heavenly years), Ruby & Phillip (14 heavenly years), and The Snowdrop Twins (6 heavenly years). Their story is one of heartbreak transformed into advocacy, community, and national change.
🌼 A Love Story Tested, Broken, and Rebuilt
Luanne and Harry’s marriage has not followed a straight line. After the devastating loss of their twins, Ruby and Phillip, in 2012, Luanne’s mental health deteriorated, and the couple made the painful decision to end their marriage.
But grief did not have the final word.
In 2013, they chose each other again — renewing their vows, rebuilding their foundation, and emerging stronger than ever.
Today, 13 years on, they stand united as advocates, volunteers, and leaders within a community they lovingly call family.
🕊️ Honouring Their Children — A Legacy That Lives On
Each of their children has shaped the work they do:
-
Jonathan — born sleeping, cremated, and now resting in a beautiful forever bed at Walton Gardens, where colourful memorial bricks honour the little ones who reside there.
“We like to think he has grown playing with the other children who rest there,” Luanne and Harry say. -
Ruby & Phillip — tiny, delicate, and deeply loved. Harry bathed their little bodies, carried them to be blessed, and placed them gently on the altar during their funeral.
Their memory is stitched into every act of compassion the couple offers today. -
The Snowdrop Twins — their adopted embryo babies, loved fiercely, remembered always.
These children are not only part of their family — they are the heartbeat of their mission.
💛 A National Campaign Rooted in Personal Loss
For over a decade, Luanne and Harry have volunteered within the baby loss community, founding and delivering two major initiatives:
-
Dressed with Dignity — providing families with choices, comfort, and dignity when saying hello or goodbye to their precious little ones. Their work reaches NHS hospitals across the UK and abroad, offering garments, wraps, and memory items at moments when compassion matters most.
-
National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy & Infant Loss — 15th October — a growing UK-wide campaign calling for official recognition, awareness, and support for families navigating the unimaginable.
Their advocacy has supported hundreds of families, built a nationwide network of volunteers, and created a safe, loving community for parents who often feel unseen.
🌟 A Community That Stands Beside Them
Luanne and Harry extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported their mission — volunteers, donors, healthcare professionals, and families who have shared their stories.
Their work continues because of the people who believe in remembrance, dignity, and the power of community.
🌸 A Story of Love That Never Ends
This press release is more than an announcement — it is a tribute to a couple who turned grief into purpose, heartbreak into advocacy, and love into a legacy that continues to grow.
Their children’s names are spoken, honoured, and remembered.
Their marriage stands as proof that even in the darkest moments, love can return, rebuild, and rise.
