Angel Parents UK & Worldwide

🌸 A Story of

Kindness, Remembrance, and Global Connection

In Manchester, where our head office hums quietly with creativity and compassion, something extraordinary has been growing — a movement stitched together by love, remembrance, and the shared experiences of families who carry the weight of baby loss in their hearts.

Every October, as the world moves gently toward autumn, our community prepares for a moment that is both deeply personal and profoundly unifying: the Wave of Light, held at 7pm on the 15th of October. It is a time when candles are lit across the globe, forming a ribbon of light that stretches from home to home, country to country, heart to heart.

At Angel Parents UK & Worldwide and Handmade With Love & Making Memories CIC, we send out Acts of Kindness Packs to families worldwide — small parcels filled with tenderness and meaning. Inside each one rests a handmade ribbon, crafted with care by our volunteers, and a candle to be lit during the Wave of Light. Last but not least, each special card inside features a beautiful handwritten name, with our information on the back. These packs travel far beyond Manchester, crossing oceans and borders, carrying with them the message that no parent walks this path alone.

One of our volunteers, David, a devoted dad and admin volunteer from Northern Ireland, once carried these ribbons all the way to Niagara Falls. He stood among the crowds, handing them out with quiet pride, sharing stories, listening, comforting. Others, he did so in memory of his daughter Remi-rose. She has a special plaque in our Memory Garden. The mayor of the town joined him, moved by the purpose and the love behind the gesture. It was a moment that shimmered — a reminder that remembrance can bring strangers together in the most unexpected places. Over 100 babies and children were remembered that day.

Every year, families follow the official Wave of Light countdown from the USA, watching Niagara Falls glow in honour of babies gone too soon. And every year, our ribbons and candles help families feel part of something larger — a global embrace of light, hope, and shared memory.

Our community continues to grow. Parents write to us, sharing their stories, their heartbreak, their strength. Their voices form the heartbeat of our work. Their courage reminds us why remembrance matters — why connection matters — why kindness matters.

Angel Parents UK Worldwide and Handmade With Love & Making Memories CIC stand as a place where grief is honoured, love is celebrated, and memories are held gently. Together, we create moments that help families breathe, remember, and feel seen. Together, we keep the light glowing.

Who We Are & What We Do

💗🌸 Our Missions

‘Dressed With Dignity’ and a National Day of Remembrance for 'Pregnancy & Infant' Loss within the UK

At the heart of Handmade With Love & Making Memories CIC are two missions that guide every stitch, every workshop, every act of kindness, and every moment of remembrance. Together, they form the foundation of our promise to families — that every baby is honoured, every parent is supported, and every memory is held with tenderness.

Handmade with Love & Making Memories CIC

A mission rooted in love, choice, and the quiet courage of bereaved parents

Dressed With Dignity exists to ensure that every baby — no matter their size, gestation, or circumstance — is given the dignity they deserve.

Our team offers parents the chance to say goodbye in a way that feels gentle, respectful, and deeply personal. Every gown, every tiny crib, every piece of clothing is handmade with love, crafted by volunteers who understand the importance of choice during the most fragile moments of a parent’s life.

From ages 7 to 97, our volunteers stitch, knit, crochet, and create with compassion. Many walk this path themselves; others walk beside those who do. Together, they form a community where grief is understood, love is shared, and dignity is protected.

Each item is made with intention — a soft seam, a careful fold, a ribbon tied with tenderness — because these small details matter. They become part of a family’s final memory, a moment etched forever in the heart.

🕊 Angel Parents UK & Worldwide

A global embrace of remembrance, connection, and community

Angel Parents UK & Worldwide brings families together across borders, time zones, and experiences. It is a space where parents can connect, share, remember, and feel held by others who understand the depth of baby loss.

Through handmade keepsakes, creative workshops, peer support, and worldwide acts of kindness, we ensure that every family knows their baby is remembered — not just by them, but by a community that spans the globe.

Our kindness packs travel across continents, carrying ribbons, candles, and messages of love. They join families in the Wave of Light, unite communities in remembrance, and remind parents that their baby’s story matters.

This mission is more than support — it is a movement of compassion, a circle of light, and a promise that no parent grieves alone.

💗 Our Promise

Comfort. Remembrance. Community.

Through handmade keepsakes, through creative workshops, through worldwide acts of kindness, we honour every baby and every parent with dignity, softness, and love.

Handmade With Love & Making Memories CIC is a place where grief is met with compassion, memories are cherished, and families are supported by a community that understands.

🎗 Our Acts of Kindness Packs

Distributed internationally, each pack includes:

  • A Handmade With Love remembrance ribbon

  • A candle to light during the global Wave of Light on 15th October

  • Gentle guidance on joining the worldwide moment of remembrance

These packs are crafted and assembled by our volunteers and sent to families across the UK and beyond.

🌍 Global Connection

Our work reaches far beyond Manchester. Volunteers like David, based in Northern Ireland, have carried our ribbons to international remembrance events — including Niagara Falls — where community leaders and families have joined together to honour babies gone too soon.

🕯 The Wave of Light

Every year at 7pm on 15th October, families worldwide light candles to create a continuous wave of remembrance. Many follow the official countdown from Niagara Falls via satellite, joining a global moment of unity and love.
