Volunteering gives me a way to honour them. It allows me to help others in this community carry their grief, offer a heart‑hug on days when everything feels too heavy, and create gentle graphics and kind words for parents who need to feel seen, held, and understood.
Having a special place in my garden for my little ones has helped my mental health more than I can ever express. It’s a space where I can breathe, remember, and feel close to them. Most of all, it’s a place our whole family can add to — a shared sanctuary of love, memory, and connection.
I raise awareness for 15th October, hoping one day it will be recognised nationally as a Day of Remembrance. Our babies deserve that moment of acknowledgement, and so do the families who carry their names in their hearts every single day.
I dream of helping to create crafting groups where parents can make
for their little ones who were gone too soon, and family day events that bring our community together while raising funds for this important cause.
I am blessed that my children walk this path with me. Amelia and Isabella help pack and deliver Acts of Kindness packs and make the special hats with printed poems for families who have a miscarriage. Without their smiles, their laughter, and their encouragement, I don’t know how I would find the strength on the hardest days.
And none of this would be possible without the people who stand beside me.
Thank you to my husband, Chris, for being my anchor through every moment of this journey. And thank you to the incredible team I work alongside — you ladies and gents help me get through each day in ways that words can never say.
My why is my babies. My why is love. My why is helping others find comfort in the darkest moments.
