APUK Campaign Update:
National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy & Infant Loss (UK)
In Manchester, Harry and Luanne continue to lead the call for an official National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy & Infant Loss in the United Kingdom. This year marks the 12th Anniversary of the campaign with Angel Parents UK & Worldwide, a milestone that reflects more than a decade of advocacy, community support, and dedication to families affected by baby and child loss.
Their campaign seeks formal recognition of 15th October, aligning the UK with countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many others who acknowledge this day as a time to raise awareness, honour precious lives, and support bereaved families. As global understanding grows around the need for visibility, compassion, and acknowledgment of pregnancy and infant loss, the UK has an opportunity to stand alongside international communities in recognising the significance of this day.
