🌈 Rainbow Stars 2026: Honouring the Hearts Who Helped Us Shine

As we step into a new year, and a month offline Harry and I find ourselves pausing — taking a breath, looking back, and feeling the weight and warmth of everything that 2025 brought to Hand Made with Love & Making Memories CIC. Each year, this moment arrives quietly at first, then gathers meaning as we begin preparing to announce our Rainbow Stars for the year ahead.

Our Rainbow Stars are not simply “top volunteers.” They are the individuals whose kindness, dedication, and steady presence helped carry our mission forward. They are the ones who stepped up when things were busy, who encouraged others, who crafted with love, who donated with intention, who supported families walking the hardest paths, and who helped us honour babies and children gone too soon with dignity and tenderness.

But before we talk about the stars, we need to talk about the sky.

Because every single volunteer ' every crafter, every donor, every person who shares a post, sends a message, or quietly cheers us on forms the constellation that holds this community together. Without you, there is no “us.” Without you, there is no Handmade with Love & Making Memories CIC. And without you, the families we support would not feel the same warmth, care, and remembrance that you help us create.

🌟 Looking Back on 2025

This past year has been filled with moments of extraordinary compassion. We’ve watched volunteers rally around families, create beautiful handmade items, support our remembrance projects, and offer their time and hearts in ways that often go unseen. Some of you stepped forward during difficult moments. Some of you inspired others to join in. Some of you carried on quietly, consistently, lovingly, the kind of support that keeps everything moving even when no one is watching.

These are the qualities we look for when choosing our Rainbow Stars.

Not perfection.

The Rainbow Stars are our way of shining a light on a small number of volunteers who went above and beyond during the year. It’s a celebration of the people who helped us grow, helped us reach families, and helped us honour precious little lives with beauty and care.
