Firstly, we would like to say a massive thank you to Jim Corbett who choose Handmade with Love & Making Memories to support this year at his annual fundraising event with work. Jim was introduced to Handmade with Love & Making Memories, founder Luanne through his daughter in law - Mia who is a close friend of Luanne, and Mia herself has volunteered on a number of occasions with events, campaigning, and signposting bereaved parents for support.. of which Jim had often seen social media posts, and Mia and Matty (Jim's son) spoke about the community work at Handmade with Love in more detail one evening. It came as a great shock to know Handmade with Love & Making Memories had been chosen by Jim, and were kindly given £500.00, which was raised by Jim and his team at MM Packaging Golf Society in their annual Charity Golf tournament that took place this year at Herons Golf Course, Blackpool.
Funds received will help support two of our community projects, our Daddy of an Angel making memory boxes, and our Rainbow Community Project. Once again we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who enabled this event to happen, and to everyone who donated. These funds will help change people's lives who have been affected by the loss of a baby. From our Dad boxes, to supporting families who are pregnant after loss. We will be forever grateful and look forward to sharing our projects with everyone at MM Packaging Team.
